ya! we're cool!

Now, I thought it was pretty cool that we designed our space so that we could replicate the dining experience one would have if they were to eat by the shore on a warm summer evening. if you have been to Malibu, cape cod, Nantucket, fire island, etc. - then you know what I'm talking about. you get the warm summer air, at times a bit humid, surrounding you as you eat your hot fish chowder followed by a fresh caught meal. 

if you dined with us over the past month, as temperatures reached close to 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside (32 Celsius), you know that it got a bit warm in our dining room, and I know many of you don't enjoy breaking a sweat while eating.

we have been challenged by the high ceilings in our space which capture the warm air coming from our kitchen. with no separation between the cooking area and dining room our a/c system was unable to cool the place down. 

at fish of the c's, we take your feedback very seriously and it seems that the majority of our diners were not interested in a beach front scenario. while we were not able to lower the ceiling or remove any of the commercial cooking equipment, we were able to make some adjustments in order to improve the dining area.

we hope that you will return and enjoy our cooler space.

and for those of you who did put up with the slightly elevated temperature - we would like to say thank you. just bring in your receipt dated any time in June or July and we'll make you one of our new frozen fruit drinks. it's our way to ensure you stay cool too.
